Students invited to submit projects for the STEM Fair

Students invited to submit projects for the STEM Fair

All SBLSD students K-12 are invited to submit a project on a topic of their choice for the STEM Fair & Art Show on Feb. 21.

Project Format Requirements

  • Grades 3-12: Students must submit and present their projects digitally using Google Slides. This digital format aligns with the requirements of the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair and creates a consistent process for all participants. Students will still present their work in person at the district STEM Fair.
  • Grades K-2: Students may submit either a traditional tri-fold display or a digital project. Families can choose the format that best supports their student’s strengths and comfort level. Both formats can be displayed at the event.

Please review the project information packets below for guidelines, expectations, examples, and safety considerations:

Project Registration

The deadline to register a project is Friday, January 30 at 3 p.m. Due to planning needs and space limitations, late submissions cannot be accepted. Projects do not need to be completed by this date, but students must submit their project topic.

To register, please complete the online registration form. You will need your student’s name, school, grade level, and project topic.

Please contact Jeremy Martin at jeremy_martin@sumnersd.org with any STEM Fair questions.
